About this collection

First published in 1931, AUC's yearbooks document campus life over time. Included in most yearbooks are student and faculty portraits as well as photographs of student life, campus, athletics, and organizations. The yearbook has been publihsed by AUC students under a number of different titles, including as the final issue of the AUC Review, as part of the Caravan, and the short-lived AUCian, among others.

The text of the yearbooks can be searched, however, the results are not perfect. Searching for one name rather than two is generally preferable (the computer may recognize two spaces, so "John Smith" won't be returned), and if there are no results it doesn't mean the term/person isn't in the yearbook. This screenshot highlights in blue where to search the current yearbook, and where to see results (the right sidebar, swtiching to the "content" tab is often easier than thumbnails). To search across the entire collection, use the search bar at the top of the page. The screenshot also highlights the "Page Flip View" in red, which is a faster way to browse the yearbook as a normal book; however the images are lower resolution.

The Rare Books and Special Collections Library has gaps in its collection, if visitors would like to donate yearbooks, or allow their copies to be scanned, it would be much appreciated and contribute to documenting AUC's long and proud history.
